Long Beach has always been a city of builders. From the ports to the hangars, we make the things that move the world. Today, we are building the future of spaceflight right here in our own backyard. But a city is more than its industrial parks—it’s the people who live in its neighborhoods.

The Space Beach Foundation exists to make sure the "Space 3.0" era includes all of us. We aren't just looking at the technical side of the stars; we’re focused on the human side.

 

Our Work

 

We act as a permanent bridge between the high-tech labs and the local community. By focusing on three main pillars, we ensure that as the industry grows, our neighbors grow with it:

• The Neighborhood: Ensuring that the "Space Beach" identity is something residents feel proud of and connected to.

• The Artists: Partnering with creators to translate complex science into human experiences we can all feel.

• The Next Generation: Helping local students see that "explorer" is a career path that starts right here on their own block.
